This tutorial provides an introduction to the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) C Language API.

Synopsis and Objectives

This tutorial will enable you to do the following:

  • Recognize the core functions of the LDAP C API
  • Understand the typical use of the LDAP library
  • Walk step by step through a typical use of the LDAP library
  • Overview synchronous versus asynchronous use of the LDAP C API
